FURRYTALES

                                       The story so far...
One beautiful, bright moonlit night, I tossed and turned as I struggled to fall asleep, when suddenly I heard the most wonderful music. I leapt out of bed, where was it coming from? I peeked out of my window and saw movement under my sleeping willow. I looked closer and couldn’t believe what I was seeing, I pinched myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.
 

My two cats, Bingo and Marms were on their two feet, their paws entwined with the hands of three little creatures, dressed in purple, blue and green. They were turning round and round in the most merry of dances. I looked closer still and saw a little creature dressed in pink perched on my fence playing a magical flute.

 I was entranced, who were these creatures, where were they from, what were they doing and when did my cats learn to dance like that?

I snuck downstairs and quietly opened my back door. I slid through the long grass like a snake, until I was just behind the willow. I was so close I could almost touch them and now I could also hear they were singing a song.       

It went something like this:

Zezme, Ezme, Gezme Do, Bingo, Marms and Bobblin too.
We are here to warn you, we are here to warn you.
Look after nature in the correct way.
Try to save energy not waste it away.
If you don’t it’s not only tigers,
   bears and blue whales that will disappear,
   But all of us beautiful creatures from our atmosphere.
   We are the Eco Furries sending this message to you.
   To be kind, take care and love our earth as we all do.
                
                                           The singing and dancing went on, what happened next is another song…..
